I’ve been meaning to write a post about this last week but honestly there is very little to write about (and that’s a good thing).
Yelapa has been everything we had hoped for — that’s a lot of nothing. Coming off of four months of craziness, Kelly and I just needed to chill. We go to bed early, wake up late. Well, Kelly does. I still like to get up before dawn.
Our Airbnb is perfect. The view over the ocean and beach is all I need.
We’re catching up on reading and I’m doing a lot of research on our travels to Central and South America. We have a plan sketched-out, though I’m sure it’ll change.
Right now we’re thinking Guatemala, Bogota, Columbia, then skip down to Santiago, Chile. From there, Buenos Aires and onto Rio where we’ll meet our friend Ernesto for his 50th birthday party. But we’ll see.
Tomorrow we leave this beautiful oasis and go to Puerto Vallarta for a night, then fly to Leon, and shuttle to San Miguel de Allende for Christmas. We’ll be bundling up, as we hear it’ll be cold there. Lows in the 30s, believe it or not.
Jeeze, that’s not why we came to Mexico!
