Kelly and I left Los Angeles six months ago today. And what an adventure it has been -- Mexico, Guatemala, Columbia, Panama and Brazil. We were supposed to be on safari in Africa right now, but I can't say it's been bad to hibernate in São Paulo for the last 3 months. We didn’t get to see much, but we made some nice friends and have promised ourselves that we’ll be back.

There was no way to predict how the entire world would massively change in the few short months since we left — Covid-19… BLM protests… and who knows what's next? Yet, Kelly and I find ourselves thriving in the uncertainty. Ready for anything. We give thanks for what we have and are humbled by the world around us.

In a few short weeks we head to Lisbon. It’s slowly opening its doors and welcoming tourists. We fantasize about eating sardines at an outdoor cafe and drinking lots of great Portuguese wine. And of course we will share what we find with you. We are all in this together!

Keep your heart open and your minds clear. There is so much good in the world and we’re off to find it.
