As much as Scott feels ready to move on, I feel like I’m just getting started here in LA. I moved here almost four years ago. It still feels very new, very exciting and very fun. Even traffic doesn’t bother me. It’s taken me a lifetime, or so it feels, to get here. And now we’re leaving.
As a landscape designer and contractor in Oklahoma, my dream was to practice my profession in Southern California (and to work for Bill Gates). Both dreams finally came true, only much later than I had hoped. Fast forward to now, my life with Scott has been much less about my career dreams and more about living life to the fullest. So it took something monumental to get me to change course.
This journey is truly something monumental.
